Holes

A Gripping Tale Of Adventure With Destiny Thrown In

WHATSAPP

Louis Sachar's gripping story Holes for young adults is a fantastic book, and it got the U.S. National Book Award for Young People's Literature and the 1999 Newbery Medal for just that.

Young boys who are juvenile delinquents are sent to a barren place, with no real sign of life for miles to serve their punishment. This includes digging holes for no particular reason.

Our hero Stanley is one of them. The story picks up real speed. The many twists and turns in the story, make the book unputdownable.

This is a rare book that is critically great and eminently readable, which explains it's popularity among young readers and teachers alike.

Holes must be part of every young reader's list and once read is sure to be cherished for long.
