WHATSAPP

Jeanette Winter is the chronicler of some extraordinary lives. In Henri's Scissors, she turns her focus to the last years of Matisse's life when he moved from painting to decoupage (paper cutouts). Suffering from cancer and wheelchair-bound, Henri used scissors and coloured paper to make his leaps of creativity. This picture book teaches us that art transcends all, including death.
