One of the most beautiful national parks of India, the Bandipur National Park is situated amongst the Western Ghats on the Mysore-Ooty highway. It covers the Mudumalai Wildlife sanctuary in Tamil Nadu, Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary in Kerala and the Nagarhole National Park in the North. Bandipur National Park makes up the largest biosphere reserve in India which is called the “Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve”. The popular inhabitants of this park are gaur, mouse deer, sambhar, wild boar and jackal. This is one of the best national park to explore with children as they get to know more about nature and wildlife.
