Located in Sawai Madhopur district in the Southeastern part of Rajasthan, the Ranthambore National Park is considered to be the hunting ground of the former Maharajas of Jaipur. Spread over 392 sq km, this national park is home to a variety of animals like tiger, sambar deer, sloth bear, chinkara and Indian porcupines apart from a variety of reptiles like rat snake, Indian chameleon, and lizard.
