  • Good friend Deepa and I were having a chat about helping our kids learn programming languages, especially since we knew none. The talk veered to Scratch and I told her my daughter was learning it in school and it seemed like such fun. Easy to use drag and drop commands, easy tutorials and a platform where they could share their work for other Scratch users to see. Developed at MIT by the Kindergarten group, Scratch is free to download and use. A definite must have resource to ease children into coding.
